ONE YEAR IN: SHELF PAPER Upgrade

After an unpredictable first few months soft opening via @trunkshowraleigh instagram in the spring of 2020, our stall at Trunkshow Raleigh has officially been open to the public for a full year now and is packed full with dozens of stalls stuffed with awesome makes and finds.

The foot traffic to this basement labyrinth of vintage, handmade and funk has been steadily increasing over the last year and the white chalk paint I normally love for its quick, thick coverage for one time photo shoots and short production set designs has met its match with 12 months of cute vintage homegoods making their way into the shop and back off the shelves.

To upgrade the durability and make it look a little nicer, I’ve added some colorful heavy duty shelf liner and capped it with gaffers tape to keep it all looking fresh. I’m hoping this little improvement keeps it looking nice and keeps things moving off the shelves for another great year of business.
